Design Engineer - Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

1) To Lead OR Assist Compressor Package /

System Design Activities which involves Reciprocating and Screw Compressor Packages

2) Review Customer Technical Specifications for System Design.

3) Provide design/technical support in development of PFDs, P&IDs , GADs etc. Review and finalize these documents.

4) Prepare other deliverables to client like Technical specifications/datasheets of compressor package accessories which includes , Pumps , PSVs, Valves , PRVs etc.

5) Design of Pressure vessel , heat exchangers with the help of PvElite and HTRI softwares

6) Furnish Process Inputs for Instrument Sizing/selection.

7) Involve in IMS , 5S documentation.

8) Carry out work given by Supervisor as and when required, which may includes visit to Client/Vendors for meetings OR Sites to resolve system issues etc.

9) In case of urgency prepare / modify drawings in AutoCAD software.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or a related field) is essential.
• Masters degree in a relevant field would be an added advantage.

Experience

• 3 - 8 years of experience in compressor package/system design, including reciprocating and screw compressors.
• Prior experience in handling PFDs, P&IDs, GADs, and technical specifications/datasheets.
• Hands-on experience with software like PvElite, HTRI, and AutoCAD.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in pressure vessel and heat exchanger design.
• Strong knowledge of compressor package accessories (e.g., pumps, PSVs, valves, PRVs).
• Understanding of instrument sizing/selection processes.
• Familiarity with IMS and 5S documentation practices.
