Position: Inside Sales/Business Development Professionals - IT (SoC, Embedded, IOT)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inside Sales/Business Development Specialist/Manager with a strong background in IoT, and Embedded Systems. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of proven experience in technology-driven solutions and will be responsible for new account farming and hunting. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and technical expertise to drive business growth and establish long-lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
New Account Farming & Hunting:
- Identify and engage new business opportunities within the IoT, Embedded Systems, and solutions market.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate new markets and generate sales leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate business growth.
POC Engagement & Supplier Management:
- Lead the development and execution of Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to showcase product capabilities and solutions to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure successful POC outcomes and manage ongoing supplier relationships.
- Provide insights and feedback to improve product offerings based on client needs and market trends.
Technical Demonstrations:
- Conduct engaging product demos and presentations in technical shows, webinars, and client meetings to effectively communicate the value of solutions.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand product features and the latest technological advancements.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive landscape, formulating go-to-market strategies accordingly.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to management and making recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account status using CRM tools.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in IoT, SoC, or Embedded Systems.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth through new account acquisition.
Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of software solutions and the technology landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships in a B2B setting.
