Job Title : ServiceNow Lead Developer
Experience : 5 + years
Location : Hyderabad, Bangalore & Noida / WFH
Job Timing : UK Shift
Key Responsibilities :
- System Design and Architecture : Responsible for designing and architecting ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements. They must understand the platform's capabilities and limitations to design scalable and efficient solutions.
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis : Collaborating with stakeholders, including business analysts and end-users, to gather and analyze requirements for ServiceNow implementations. They translate these requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Customization and Configuration : ServiceNow Architects customize and configure the platform to meet specific business needs. This involves creating new modules, workflows, business rules, UI pages, and integrations with other systems.
- Integration and Data Migration : Integrating ServiceNow with other third-party applications and systems is a crucial aspect of the job. ServiceNow Architects design and implement integration solutions and manage data migration when required.
- Development and Scripting : Writing and maintaining scripts and code (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.) for ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
- Security and Compliance : Ensuring that ServiceNow implementations adhere to security best practices and compliance standards. This includes managing user access, data protection, and handling sensitive information.
- Performance Optimization : Optimizing ServiceNow performance and monitoring system health to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Troubleshooting and Support : Providing technical support to resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Documentation : Preparing detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and implementation guidelines.
- Project Management : Managing the technical aspects of ServiceNow projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks with the development team.
Required Skills :
- ServiceNow Expertise : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), CSM, HRSD, Orchestration, SecOps, IRM, Scope Applications, Virtual Agent, Bots, UI Builder, and Service Portal
- Integrations : Rest API, SOAP, Microsoft Teams, eBonding, Jira, Azure, Splunk, Event monitoring tools, Security tools, Integration Hub, SAP, Workday, and third-party apps.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web technologies.
- ITIL Knowledge : Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices is often required, as ServiceNow is commonly used for IT service management.
- Communication and Collaboration : Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and development teams.
- Problem-Solving : Analytical mindset and the ability to identify and solve complex technical challenges.
- Domain Separated Environment : experience of configuring multi-tenant environment.
- Team handling : Proven experience in leading and coordinating teams to deliver ServiceNow ITSM solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration and project success
Technology awareness :
- Platform : working knowledge on ServiceNow Istanbul and beyond
- Frameworks : CI-CD
- Database : MySQL, SQL, Oracle
- Programming : Core Java, Angular, ReactJS, Python, Django
- Deployment/Project Management : Concepts of Agile, Scrum, DevOps
Qualification :
- Degree in Engineering or Master in IT, from a Tier 1 or 2 institute
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist (CAS)
- Working experience with overseas Fortune Customers
Experience :
- 5 to 7 years of experience in working across technologies. Familiarity with a wide range of cloud services and architecture patterns is essential.
