Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer specializing in Quantity Surveying and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) to join our team and contribute to our ongoing township projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quantity Surveying:
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for civil and structural works from drawings and project documents.
• Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in compliance with project requirements.
• Verify quantities during project execution to ensure alignment with the BOQ.
2. Bar Bending Schedule (BBS):
• Prepare, review, and verify bar bending schedules as per structural drawings and design specifications.
• Coordinate with the execution team to ensure timely delivery of reinforcement requirements.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of quantity calculations and revisions.
• Provide periodic reports to the project team regarding material requirements and consumption.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and design teams to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
• Resolve discrepancies in drawings, specifications, or quantities in consultation with the design and execution teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education:
  Bachelors degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience:
• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in quantity surveying and bar bending schedule preparation for residential or township projects.
• Familiarity with construction practices and reinforcement detailing.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and BBS preparation tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with various project teams.
