Design Engineer ( Control & Instrumentation)

Role & responsibilities

Preferably candidates from Thermal Power Industry:

• Preparation of Detail Design Documents/ Drawings such as Instrument Lists, JB Schedules, LIE/LIR grouping, Control Write-up/Philosophy , Cable Block Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, I/O Lists, Cable tray Layouts, Cable & Inter-connection Schedules, Specifications & Data Sheets for Field instruments/Analysers , DCS/PLC/SCADA documents like Logic diagrams, DCS/PLC IO allocation Schedules, Functional Grouping , OGA/IGA/Panel layout drawings, Wiring drawings, Earthing drawings etc.
• Expertise in meeting deadlines & match the overall project schedule.
• Experience related to codes and standards like ISA, ASME, IEEE, VDE, IEC, NFPA etc. for control systems and automation systems.
• Good knowledge of DCS, PLC and SCADA.

Add-on skills:

• Experience in Erection , commissioning, shutdown and maintenance works encompassing DCS, PLCs, Drives, Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Safety Systems.
• Use basic designing concept (Skelton to final part).
• New product design and development as per layout.
• Making 3-D, 2-D & GD&T Drawing of Panels and other C&I Equipments
• Revision of design/drawings for any improvements & modification with related Departments.
• Preparation and maintain BOM (bill of material) for individual projects.

* Candidate may have visit different project sites in India .
