Workshop Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

1) Monitor workshop activities to ensure timely and efficient repair of AC/DC motors and alternators.

2) Follow company regulations & standards and compliances

3) Solve issues in AC/DC motors and alternators.

4) Repair and maintenance for good performance of motors

5) Guide staff on repair

6) Ensuring optimal productivity levels are maintained in accordance with work schedules

7) Ensuring maintenance of all Machines in the Workshop to have minimal downtime

8) Test & inspect repaired motors and alternators.

9) Record maintenance for repair work, and labour.

10) Check Customer requirements and provide support.

11) Conducting field visits for field service support

12) MIS & correspondence with HO

13) Experience in working with ERP & CRM tools

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

• Engineer with minimum 5 years experience in Service of Electrical Rotating Machines

Skills:

• Trouble Shooting and Fault Diagnosis of Electrical Rotating Machines
• Data Analytics and Management
• Good Knowledge of Machine Shop i.e., Welding, Fabrication, Lath Machine, Drilling, Welding etc.
• Good Experience with Machining, fitting techniques, fabrication, electrical and mechanical maintenance
