Merchant Banking Associate ( Manager / Senior Manager )
Job Description:
- For a Fast growing Investment & Merchant Banker having 20 offices globally - we are looking for a Merchant Banking Associate (Manager/Senior Manager).
- Must be well versed with compliances under Companies laws, SEBI laws, IPO Main Board regulations, IPO SME regulations, workings in Indian Market.
- Responsible for Drafting/ vetting of offer documents as per SEBI Regulations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Liaison with intermediaries, SEBI & Stock exchanges, for filing documents, getting clearance & approvals.
- Responsible for providing compliance coverage to the Firm's ECM business, IPO Right Issues, take overs, Buy Backs, De-listings etc.
- Work closely with the investment banking team, legal, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless end to end deal execution.
- Identify regulatory trends and developments, advising business staff as to how this may affect their current activities and work with supervisors to implement any required changes to current policy / practice.
- Well versed & networked with market participants such as Lawyers, Registrar, Bankers, Printers, Advertising and IR firms.
Requirements:
- Education- LLB/CS/ CFA.
- Experience: Minimum 6-7 years in Indian Equity Capital market compliances, due diligence, execution and processing / Merchant Banking.
- Experience with a renowned merchant banking firm will be preferred.
- Having the ability to make, support and defend difficult and complex regulatory/ compliance decisions in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
- Having the ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.
- Having good communication and eye for detail.
