Product is a fast-growing, innovative School ERP product that is revolutionising educational institution management through streamlined processes across admissions, academics, and administration. Currently, already catering to around 50,000 students on the platform, the next step is to have a pan India GTM & cover top group of schools on the platform

The Parent company is a large educational group headquartered out of Mumbai, having around 30 schools across the country. The Group is expanding significantly every year with organic & inorganic growth.

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to join our design team and play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our School ERP product. Reporting to the UI/UX Design Lead and collaborating closely with product and development teams, you will lead the design efforts for key features and mentor junior designers.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design process for major features of our School ERP platform, from concept to implementation

- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, user feedback, and usability findings

- Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across the product

- Conduct and analyse user research to inform design decisions

- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes

- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and timely implementation

- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team

- Facilitate design thinking workshops and brainstorming sessions

- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics

- Stay updated on UI/UX trends and best practices, particularly in EdTech

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, HCI, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on B2B SaaS or EdTech products

- Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and problem-solving skills

- Expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar

- Experience with design systems and component-based design

- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies

- Familiarity with front-end development constraints and possibilities

- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles

Skills :

- Advanced visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, layout, and colour theory

- Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellence in user research and usability testing methodologies

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

- Team leadership and mentoring abilities

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
