Video Content Creator/Editor

We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Video Editor who can conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging video content that aligns with The Bare Bars brand identity. This person will be responsible for crafting high-quality content across social media, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling. They should not only execute the vision of the Creative Lead but also bring in fresh ideas and creative concepts that align with our aesthetic and brand voice.

Role & responsibilities

• Creative Conceptualization: Develop new video ideas and shooting concepts tailored to The Bare Bars brand, social media presence, and marketing campaigns.
• Editing & Post-Production: Edit and refine video content with smooth transitions, color grading, music, text overlays, and effects to ensure a polished, high-quality finish.
• Social Media Video Creation: Edit engaging and trend-driven content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
• Brand Aesthetic & Storytelling: Ensure that all videos reflect The Bare Bars visual style, tone, and sustainability-driven message.
• Trend Research & Execution: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, viral formats, and video techniques to create content that resonates with audiences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Lead and marketing team to align on ideas, ensure timely delivery, and maintain a consistent brand identity.
• Content Organization: Maintain an archive of raw footage, edits, and finalized content for future use.

• A strong executor who can take direction from the Creative Lead and bring ideas to life.

Requirements:

• Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Proven experience in editing high-quality, social media-friendly video content.
• Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices for video content.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, and sound editing is a plus.
• Experience in a product-based or lifestyle brand is a bonus.
• In-person role: Must be available to work from The Bare Bars office/studio.
