Accounts Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to manage our companys day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be able to handle financial transactions, prepare reports, and maintaining accurate financial records. As an Accounts Executive, he/she will be responsible for various financial duties, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, petty cash and assisting with budgeting and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Process incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring they are recorded accurately.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable ledgers to ensure timely payments.
• Assist in managing vendor and client relationships with regard to payments.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Reconcile company bank accounts and credit card statements regularly.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• General Ledger Maintenance:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the general ledger.
• Post journal entries for various transactions, ensuring proper classification and coding.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports for management and other stakeholders.
• Miscellaneous:
• Handle accounting-related inquiries from internal departments and external parties.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Commerce

• Experience:
• While Proven experience as an Accounts Executive is preferred, freshers can apply as well
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally and MS Office

• Skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
