Database Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with product manager and developer to understand product requirement and design.

- Document detailed functional and integration test cases.

- Coordinate with the developer, product manager and other business stakeholders on test case review, identify missing and complex test case scenarios.

- Test execution, Publish test report and coordinate with product & programme stakeholders.

- Analyze server logs, DB and provide other relevant details with a bug.

- Track Quality metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

- Design and Develop test automation framework

- Develop mock/stub to test the functionality of a component in isolation.

Qualifications Required :

- 6+ years of experience in Data Testing

- Hands-on coding experience in Python. Can write efficient, modular, and maintainable code.

- Solid Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and pub-sub technologies

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plan.

- Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystem - Azure and it's services like - Azure storage; Data Bricks; Azure Data Factory; Azure SQL Databases and other SQL-based services.

- Experience in working on Linux/Unix environment.

- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Cloud

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

- Outstanding problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

- Good oral and written communication skills
