Job Summary

Responsible for supplier management for base/preferred suppliers. Request For Quotation (RFQ), negotiation, contract mgmt. Analysis of suppliers, competition, benchmark, spend etc. Responsible for supplier management in line with strategy, process and KPIs for assigned suppliers.

This position is based in Chakan, Pune

What you will do

Identify suppliers, drive sourcing and contacting based on business needs in line with supplier management strategies in OEM and 3rd party equipment category
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Tier I Tier II suppliers, including alliance partners. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Drive compliance to category strategy, supplier base plan, supplier management processes, contracts and best practices. Participates in target setting, follow up and corrective action.
Ensures correct usage of relevant tools including tools for data analysis and negotiation. Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Lead and execute VA/VE projects aimed at reducing product and process costs without compromising quality, functionality, or performance.
Monitor industry trends and best practices in OEM category and technologies to continuously improve processes.
Negotiate and conclude supplier agreements in a timely manner complying with company policies, regulations, and standards.

We believe you have

Preferably global or international experience, 5 plus years in sourcing contracting and supplier base management. Degree in Engineering or Commerce.
Professional who is driven, self-going candidate with great networking skills. Your strong communication skills combined with your interpersonal capabilities enable you to easily interact cross borders both internally and externally.
You also have a great passion to contribute towards business and the courage to challenge current state in a constructive and positive manner that builds trust.
Strong experience in handling multiple suppliers in OEM and 3rd party equipment category with proven negotiation and supplier integration skills.
Good domain knowledge along with proven techno commercial skills in the required categories
