Job Summary
Joining the dynamic Integrated Logistics organization at Tetra Pak, this position will be part of the Logistics Control Tower supporting logistics operations at Global Level. What you will do
Daily logistics operations
Ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer on time : resolve issues that might arise with deliveries (in/out) at warehouse / port / customs / transportation company.
Ensure that all deliveries are in accordance with procedures and policys set by Tetra Pak and governing authorities such as customs, VAT and export control
Create and validate customs and freight documentation, timely preparation of export / Domestic shipment documentation in SAP.
Follow legislation and procedures relating to quality, customs and safety
Preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicating to all stakeholders;
To work in Cost improvement initiatives in 4 areas (Inbound, outbound, Freight and Customs/Duties)
Support local implementation of global/cluster logistics improvement processes
Synchronize ETDs and ETAs over the supply chain to ensure the correct delivery date to customer
Logistic planning of all the shipments in line with requirements and in coordination with all internal and external stakeholders.
Managing multiple lines of communication between Order fullfillment, factory logistics teams, market company, end customers, logistics service providers like Freight forwarders, customs brokers, truckers and other stakeholders.
Ensuring the integrity of import / export documentation such as Bills of lading, Commercial invoices and packing lists and other statutory documents.
Continual review of shipment schedules and reporting exceptions if any to relevant stake holders.
Operational logistics optimization:
Participate and contribute in World Class Manufacturing (TPM) activities for eradicating Logistics losses (both in costs and service level) impacting Factory and customers involving other stakeholders as needed. Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities to achieve lowest possible total logistics cost and improved service level
Work with Shipping, Production logistics, Warehouse, Order fulfilment, Project Coordination, Market company, freight forwarders, Customs Brokers and customers to ensure timely execution of all the orders and meeting customer delivery dates.
Participate and contribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings both internally as well as with related stake holders.
We believe you have
Relevant experience of 7-10 years and good understanding of and knowledge of end-to-end export/import (Ocean and Air) shipping process.
Knowledge and hands on experience in various international trade lanes would be added advantage.
Focused on export management, freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of Logistics Supply chain activities.
Independent, very communicative and problem-solving-oriented work style
Strong team player attitude with the ability to inspire others.
A collaborative, self-motivated person who enjoys multi-tasking.
Strong in administrative and communication skills.
A supportive mind-set and are very open for effective collaboration with people
Continuous improvement is a natural part of your way of working.
Working experience on SAP modules and TMS (OTM) is preferred.
Willing to work in shifts.
