Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the target market.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential growth areas.
- Promote and sell Grow Indigo's products and services to farmers, including sustainable products, e-commerce platforms, and digital marketplaces.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers in the assigned territory.
- Understand farmer needs and provide personalized solutions to address their challenges.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries effectively.
- Conduct regular farm visits to build rapport with farmers and understand their needs.
- Plan and execute effective territory management strategies, including route planning and customer segmentation.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data.
Represent Grow Indigo at local events and trade shows.
- Collect and analyze data on market trends, customer behavior, and sales performance.
- Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
Collaborate effectively with other team members, including sales, marketing, and support teams.
Share best practices and market insights with the team.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- 3-5 years of experience in working with Farming Communities.
- Strong negotiation skills with Rural Communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong human relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
Experience in agricultural sales and marketing.
Knowledge of local agricultural practices and market trends.
Experience with CRM software
