Job Description
- Ensure that the organizations Quality Management System complies with customer and internal requirements.
- Evaluate and report on customer quality requirements, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures in collaboration with the R&D team.
- Lead projects at the supplier’s end for Controller/PCB Assembly buildup from a QC perspective.
- Address in-process and End-of-Line (EOL) issues by coordinating with relevant departments for root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Handle field issues related to controllers by working with the internal electronics R&D team and suppliers for RCA and corrective measures.
- Oversee product recalls, warranty issues, and line rejections.
- Report to top management on the performance of the QMS, including areas for improvement.
- Execute new production development with the R&D department, ensuring quality requirements for in-process and EOL stages.
- Coordinate with the R&D department to resolve issues identified during QC checks without affecting dispatch schedules.
- Drive continual process improvements to enhance efficiency, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.
- Review Design Change Releases (DCR) for controllers from a quality perspective and discuss any queries with R&D before final approval for production.
- Participate in New Product Development (NPD) activities from a quality standpoint.
