Implementation Engineer
Seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Implementation Engineer to join our Customer Experience org and Onboarding team. You will play a crucial role in working closely with our new customers to scope requirements, architect, implement, test, and deploy data pipelines and use cases for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform business and technical discovery with customers and be able to architect/build proposed solutions
- Be our customers most trusted advisors by utilizing the platform capabilities to achieve their business outcomes
- Provide a consultative approach in advising customers, own the Onboarding project end-to-end, and work with the customer to deliver a solution tailored to their requirements.
- Articulate and educate on business, technical, and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including business users, developers, architects, IT operations professionals, and senior IT management
- Manage escalations, blockers, and feature enhancements, while collaborating with customers
- Serve as the primary point of contact when customer issues arise and assemble the right team members to solve the customer s issue(s)
- Participate in prioritizing technical issues and product improvements to address the most critical issues affecting customer experience
- Learn company s Product and be able to build data pipelines for customer use cases
- Develop and be a best practice expert
- Share examples with our community to solve common data automation problems
- Drive or join calls with customers in US timezone
Competencies
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical consulting role in data integration, data engineering, data architecture, and leading data projects plus delivering solutions for customers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Web APIs, SDKs, SQL, databases/warehouses, data modeling, and ETL
- Strong Python skills
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving customer success.
- Ability to be scrappy and adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment.
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Exposure to systems like Salesforce, Hubspot, Netsuite is good to have
