Implementation Consultant

Job Description

As an Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for configurations and customizations identified from the requirements and as directed by the Implementation Lead. The role will involve assisting in designing software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.
Requirements:
1. 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience implementing projects related to field services/asset management with technical expertise in Java/J2EE.
2. Consultant with experience in the utility industry and possess business understanding of the utility industry and business processes
3. Experience with EAM products like Maximo, Oracle Work & Asset Management (WAM), Oracle WACS, and FSM products like ClickSoftware, ServiceNow FSM, Salesforce SFS etc
4. Hands-on experience with configurations such as custom objects, layouts, reports, dashboards, and workflow rules.
5. Experience working with MongoDB will be a big plus
6. Excellent analytical, and problem-solving abilities and communication skills; oral, written, and listening
7. Experience working with Version control software and ensuring quality code development adhering to standards
8. Nice to have: Experience in integrations with 3rd party systems and a good knowledge of data modeling
9. B.Tech, BE, Engineering in Computer Science, Masters preferred

Responsibilities:
1. Ability to develop quality code, analyze customer requirements and configure, test and maintain the solution as per the business needs
2. Ability to debug customer issues and provide elegant solutions for complex problems
3. Ensure customer requirements are understood, prioritized and implemented in a timely manner
1. Closely work with other teams ( Product, Devops, Support), communicate on a daily basis with onshore/offshore team members and take ownership of the assigned deliverables.
2. Writing programs and scripts to design user-friendly interfaces and optimized functionalities.
3. Assist in diagnosing application performance issues, system integrations, and offline/online data handling problems.
4. Keeping informed of the latest industry developments, upgrades, and offerings.
