Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Sr. Vice President Finance Healthcare Services

Our National Reference Laboratory (NRL) is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies like Modular

LC-MS, HLA Typing, Nephelometry, etc.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CFO to lead the financial strategy and operations of our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fundraising (PE investments, IPOs), M&A, treasury management, financial controls, and investor relations. The CFO will play a critical role in driving business growth, managing JVs/holding companies, and ensuring financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute financial strategies to drive business growth

- Provide expert financial insights to the Board and leadership team

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

2. Financial Management & Treasury

- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow management, and risk mitigation

- Ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and financial controls

- Implement best practices for financial efficiency and compliance

3. Fundraising & Investor Relations

- Lead fundraising efforts, including private equity investments, IPOs, and debt financing

- Develop investment structures to facilitate growth and capital infusion

- Build strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions

4. Mergers, Acquisitions & Joint Ventures

- Drive M&A transactions, including financial due diligence and deal structuring

- Assess JV partnerships for financial viability and strategic alignment

- Lead financial negotiations for acquisitions, partnerships, and expansions

5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with GST, corporate tax, and other statutory regulations

- Manage legal and corporate affairs, including audits and secretarial compliance

- Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities

6. Financial Performance Management

- Monitor P&L, cost structures, EBITDA performance, and key financial KPIs

- Optimize operational costs while maintaining service quality and compliance

- Implement ERP systems, process automation, and financial reporting tools for efficiency

Preferred Background:

• Prior experience in healthcare services or a combination of retail and B2B environments, with expertise in managing multiple companies along with a holding company, regardless of the sector
• Exposure to mid-sized companies (₹200+ Cr turnover) with multi-location operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
• 15+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or leadership role.
• Proven experience in fundraising, PE investments, IPO readiness, and investor relations.
• Strong background in treasury, financial controls, tax planning, and accounting.
• Experience in handling M&As, JV structuring, due diligence, and strategic partnerships.
• Expertise in healthcare services, retail/B2B financial models, and regulatory frameworks.
