Job Title: Senior Engineer Presales

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Presales to join our team in the valve industry. This individual will play a key role in supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise, preparing presales documentation, and collaborating closely with customers, sales teams, and engineering departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions related to valve systems.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and product presentations to customers.
• Analyze customer needs and design optimal valve solutions for their specific applications.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support during customer meetings.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including data sheets, cost estimates, and system configurations.
• Liaise with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate design and specifications are met.
• Address customer queries and troubleshoot technical challenges related to valve products.
• Provide feedback to product development teams regarding customer requirements and market trends.
• Assist in preparing tenders and bids for projects, ensuring all technical and compliance requirements are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive products.
• Provide training and support to the sales team on product features and technical specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in presales or technical sales roles in the valve or related industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of valve technologies, materials, applications, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to design and propose technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in technical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, API, ASME) in the valve industry is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in the oil and gas, power, water treatment, or chemical industries.
• Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi.
