Business Development Executive

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Lead Generation

• Prepare a database of potential customers by mining data through various sources online and offline (field visits, trade fairs, networking events and marketing campaigns)
• Visit the customers as per the generated database and understand the current infrastructure, specified and potential needs
• Present the company information and entire product range to customers
• Identify key decision makers at customers and work towards scheduling meetings of seniors with them

Sales

• Attend to customer enquiries
• Understand the requirements of customers
• Coordinate with the sales support team to develop appropriate quotations
• Ensure closures of orders

Post Sales Activities

• Ensure customers are receiving the deliveries on time
• Keep customer updated of delivery status
• Answer to any customer queries or complaints
• Provide any technical assistance as required by the client
• Follow up with customers for recovery of funds
• Coordinating with accounts department for resolving queries pertaining to recovery of funds
• Ensure funds are recovered as per schedule

Sales Operations

• Share daily visit plan
• Provide visit & enquiry data
• Update visit reports and update in CRM
