Tenacitics - DevOps Engineer - Jenkins/Ansible (5-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary to support our development and deployment processes.

Your expertise in Azure, CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, system administration, shell scripting, Kubernetes, and Docker will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our software delivery pipeline.

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on Azure cloud platform.

- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline software development and delivery.

- Utilize Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.

- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and infrastructure provisioning.

- Perform system administration tasks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance.

- Write shell scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

- Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes and Docker containers.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and provide guidance on infrastructure and deployment best practices.

- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and containerization.

Requirements :

- Solid experience working with Azure cloud platform, including knowledge of Azure services and infrastructure components.

- Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

- Strong understanding of configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.

- Sound knowledge of system administration concepts and practices.

- Proficiency in shell scripting (e., Bash) for automation and system administration tasks.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications :

- Relevant certifications in Azure, DevOps, or related areas.

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform.

- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).

- Familiarity with other CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.

- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools.

- Experience with agile development methodologies.
