About Team :
- The Governance Regulatory Compliance function assists the organization to meet its business objectives by providing a structured approach for continuous assessment of Temenos processes and control environment to ensure compliance with contractual, applicable regulatory or international standard requirements are met.
- The GRC team acts as a business enabler, focusing to strengthen Temenos market position by offering a competitive, industry relevant certification scheme aligned with business strategic initiatives and growth plans.
- GRC team operates a robust compliance program aimed to provide strong sense of confidence to our business, clients or investors, in Temenos ability to maintain secure, resilient, effective operational processes.
THE ROLE :
- The GRC Specialist has the primary responsibility to ensure that the Services provided by Temenos meet contractual, regulatory, industry standards and internal policy requirements.
- The GRC Specialist will report to the Assistant Vice President, GRC and will provide support for Client audits , operation of external certification and compliance programs, the contractual and regulatory compliance management programs and for the continuous assessment, evaluation and reporting of the effectiveness of processes, controls, policies, procedures related to the cloud business.
- Role will work closely with a geographically dispersed Cloud Operation teams, Group Risk, Security, Audit, as well as other assurance and compliance functions to ensure that policies, strategies, procedures,.
- and standards are consistent and provide the highest level of assurance for the company and Temenos clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Assistance Vice President, GRC to operate the regulatory compliance framework meeting industry & regulatory standards and group policies,.
- Provide support to manage supplier due diligence programs, client audits and responses to RFI/RFP,.
- Provide support during ongoing certifications, attestations, assurance exercise.
- Manage and report on effectiveness of continuous monitoring program to address compliance and control gaps within Cloud business.
Controls have to address the risks, contractual commitments, client expectations, regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Build strong relationships within the organization to foster a culture of risks awareness, control, security and compliance.
Requirements/Skills:
Essential:
- 5+ years professional work experience in audit, risk, internal control or compliance.
- Understanding of software, hosting and financial services industry.
- Project management skills with demonstrated exposure to handle global programs.
- Very strong hands-on experience with obtaining / maintaining various certifications/ attestations (E.G,, SOC, CCM, ISO,PCI).
- Exposure to Cloud control frameworks such as the CSA CCM is preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with implementation and operation of risk and control frameworks.
- Good understanding of security risks and controls.
- Organized, methodical, with attention to detail yet able to summarize.
- Exposure to global working environment.
- Ability to collaborate with business, regional and corporate leaders to obtain consensus and support.
Desirable (knowledge/experience) :
- Hosting company experience.
Market knowledge :
- Knowledge of cloud service models and the outsourcing of financial services.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Ongoing management of GRC framework and controls.
- Successful and timely completion of Due diligence requests, Client audit requirements.
- Adherence to contractual commitments.
- Meeting all regulatory obligations.
- Team Satisfaction (measured through annual performance appraisal and 360 feedback).
