PS Technical Manager - Core (Signalling) (Req. - Immediate Joiner)

Skills and experience

1. Experience in telecommunication industry
2. Five or more years experience in working at leadership level such as project manager or above
3. Strong background on signalling protocols SS7 and Diameter
4. Proficiency in IP networking routing, addressing, firewalls
5. Good understanding of MAP/CAP signalling for mobile communication services like location updates, SMS flows, prepaid services
6. Hands on with cloud deployment modes (Openstack, VMWare, Kubernetes, Openshift)
7. Deep understanding of Linux Operating System, specifically RedHat and its Flavors
8. Requirement analysis and designing solutions
9. Developing test strategies, test plans and execution
10. Project tracking
11. People management

Responsibilities

1. Commissioning of teleSys products at customer network which includes following -
1. Understanding current network
2. Designing deployment architecture including IP planning, signalling connections
3. Installation
4. Integration of network elements and OSS systems
5. Developing acceptance test cases
6. Training to customer team
7. Regular customer interactions in form of meetings, report submissions
8. Tracking project progress
9. Monitoring escalations
10. Interfacing customer and internal stake holders like R&D team, customer care team
11. Quality testing of teleSys products which includes designing test cases, execution, tracking test progress, defect management
