Sr. RF Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Review and analyze RFDS and construction drawings to understand the design of the cell site.
• Apply EME design principles when reviewing and verifying wireless design using 3D models created in IXUS Modeler/ Roofmaster.
• Apply drafting principles to prepare or modify 3D models using IXUS/Roofmaster software
• Create and review EME engineering compliance reports including Site compliance reports (Pre) and Jurisdiction reports.
• Update IXUS Manager and various databases to record all project data and maintain records in accordance with Client requirements.
• Communicate with Design Staff and Clients to ensure appropriate data is obtained to accurately complete EME compliance reports.
• Inspect cell sites and conduct audits to collect information necessary to complete EME compliance deliverables.

Requirement:

• Candidate should have an undergraduate degree in Electronics & Communications at a minimum.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in the wireless industry as an RF Design engineer and experience in 5G/LTE/ CBRS technologies.
• Engineer must have experience in wireless technology, RF Design, Plumbing diagram & RFDS creation.
• Knowledge of RF theory and EME theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE technology is required.
• Knowledge of various RF tools such as Roof master, Roof view, IXUS or MapInfo is required.
• Knowledge of propagation modelling software such as Planet EV or Atoll is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Office suit (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required. Proficiency in MS Excel (macros, formulas, pivot tables) is a must. Knowledge of MS Visio is a plus.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Candidate must have good communication skills and should be interact with the Customer directly.
