Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Computer Vision & Machine Learning (CVML) Engineer with strong expertise in OpenCV, Machine Learning, and Image Processing. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing tools that enable virtual testing for Perception applications, reducing the need for synthetic data generation in neural network training and validation.
The role also requires staying updated with cutting-edge advancements in Simulation, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning and implementing best practices to enhance development efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities :
Simulation and Virtual Testing Development :
- Design and develop simulation-based tools to replace synthetic data generation for perception system validation.
- Develop realistic virtual environments for testing and validating neural networks used in autonomous systems.
- Utilize Unreal Engine 5 (Blueprints & C++) to create high-fidelity computer vision and machine learning test environments.
Computer Vision & Machine Learning Implementation :
- Research, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms for real-time perception applications.
- Utilize OpenCV and deep learning frameworks to build feature extraction, object detection, segmentation, and classification models.
- Optimize image processing pipelines for performance, scalability, and robustness in real-world applications.
AI Model Development & Validation :
- Train and validate deep learning models for computer vision applications, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
- Work on data augmentation, synthetic data generation, and self-supervised learning techniques.
- Optimize neural network architectures for deployment on embedded and cloud-based platforms.
Software Development & Performance Optimization :
- Develop highly efficient C++ (primary), Python, and MATLAB applications for computer vision tasks.
- Implement multi-threading, parallel computing, and hardware acceleration techniques (CUDA, OpenCL).
- Improve performance using optimized data structures and algorithms for real-time vision applications.
CI/CD, Automation, and Deployment :
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment using Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Work in a Linux-based development environment, ensuring seamless integration with various hardware platforms.
- Automate workflows to improve efficiency in model testing and validation.
Research & Technological Advancements :
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Simulation, AI, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
- Evaluate and introduce state-of-the-art techniques and best practices into the development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new methodologies into perception system development.
Must-Have Skills :
- Strong C++ programming skills (primary language), with experience in Python and MATLAB.
- Hands-on experience with OpenCV, Image Processing, and Computer Vision libraries.
- Experience in Machine Learning model development, training, and validation.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 (C++ & Blueprints) for simulation-based testing.
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Development Principles.
- Experience with Linux, Git, and Jenkins for CI/CD and development workflow.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX).
- Knowledge of Synthetic Data Generation, Data Augmentation, and Domain Adaptation.
- Exposure to Multi-threading, GPU Acceleration (CUDA, OpenCL) for real-time vision processing.
- Understanding of ROS (Robot Operating System) and edge computing architectures.
- Knowledge of Autonomous Systems, ADAS, or Robotics Perception.
