We are seeking an experienced Multimedia Audio DSP Engineer with expertise in digital signal processing (DSP) for audio applications in automotive and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio algorithms, DSP frameworks, and real-time processing. This role involves working on high-performance multimedia solutions to enhance the quality of audio systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize audio DSP algorithms for high-performance multimedia applications.

- Implement real-time audio processing techniques such as noise reduction, echo cancellation, and sound enhancement.

- Develop and integrate audio processing solutions into embedded and automotive platforms.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure high-quality audio output.

- Debug and optimize DSP software for efficiency, memory usage, and performance improvements.

- Develop firmware and low-level drivers for audio DSP processors.

- Implement audio codecs, audio effects, and advanced filtering techniques.

- Perform profiling, benchmarking, and tuning of DSP algorithms for real-time applications.

- Stay up to date with the latest audio processing technologies and industry standards to enhance system capabilities.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance on DSP architecture, algorithm design, and hardware acceleration.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong expertise in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for Audio Applications.

- Experience in audio algorithm development, signal conditioning, and real-time processing.

- Proficiency in C, C++, MATLAB, and assembly language for DSP software development.

- Hands-on experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded software, and DSP frameworks.

- Knowledge of audio codecs (AAC, MP3, Opus), filters, and noise suppression techniques.

- Experience with ARM-based DSP processors, TI DSPs, or similar embedded platforms.

- Strong understanding of Fourier Transform, Filter Design, Adaptive Filtering, and Spectral Analysis.

- Familiarity with audio standards, psychoacoustics, and spatial audio processing.

- Experience with debugging and optimization tools such as GDB, Valgrind, JTAG Debuggers.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in automotive infotainment systems, multimedia frameworks, or embedded audio solutions.

- Knowledge of machine learning techniques applied to audio signal processing.

- Familiarity with audio middleware such as ALSA, PulseAudio, or Android Audio Framework.

- Experience in working with automotive protocols (MOST, A2B, I2S, I2C, SPI, CAN).

- Understanding of low-latency audio processing and audio synchronization techniques.
