Job Title : Adaptive AUTOSAR Developer

Location : Bangalore & Pune

We are seeking a skilled Adaptive AUTOSAR Developer with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Automotive Embedded Systems and be proficient in Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and integrate Adaptive AUTOSAR-based software modules for automotive applications.

- Implement and configure middleware components to ensure smooth communication between application layers.

- Collaborate with system architects to design scalable and maintainable software architectures.

- Ensure seamless integration with hardware platforms and other third-party components.

- Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Work closely with product owners, system engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.

- Create detailed design documents, including UML diagrams, flowcharts, and state machines.

- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure software reliability.

- Perform debugging and root cause analysis to resolve complex software issues.

- Validate software functionalities in simulation environments as well as on target hardware.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, including ISO 26262.

- Optimize software performance for high efficiency and low latency.

- Maintain existing AUTOSAR-based systems by implementing updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

- Ensure backward compatibility and stability across different versions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, QA teams, and project managers.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Communicate project status, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.

- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development.

- In-depth knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture, including middleware and application layers.

- Proficiency in C++ programming and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles.

- Strong experience with AUTOSAR tools such as Vector DaVinci, Elektrobit, or similar platforms.

- Familiarity with communication protocols like SOME/IP, DDS, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.

- Experience in working with POSIX-based operating systems (e.g., QNX, Linux).

- Solid understanding of Inter-Process Communication (IPC) mechanisms and service-oriented

architectures.

- Knowledge of system safety standards such as ISO 26262 and compliance requirements.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR and its integration with Adaptive AUTOSAR.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

- Exposure to Model-Based Development (MBD) and tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.

- Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Familiarity with Cybersecurity standards in automotive systems (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434).
