Tekonika - Java Developer - Spring Boot (5-9 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 5-9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing APIs, collaborating with Data and AI Engineers, and ensuring the recommendation engine can handle large-scale traffic efficiently.

The role involves working with cloud platforms, containerization tools, and observability solutions to maintain system performance, recommendation accuracy, and user satisfaction.

Required Skills :

- Core Java & Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC or Spring Cloud)

- API Development (RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture)

- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Python programming experience

- Experience in e-commerce, search, or recommendation domains

- Experience with AI/ML-based recommendation engines

- Performance tuning and system optimization skills

- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain APIs to support model ingestion, inference, and recommendations.

- Collaborate with Data and AI Engineers to deliver an end-to-end recommendation engine.

- Design and implement scalable Java-based applications for handling large volumes of traffic.

- Integrate APIs with front-end UI slates for seamless recommendation consumption.

- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of backend services.

- Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Core Java & Spring Framework
