SAP BODS Consultant - Data Services (6-8 yrs)

Job Title : SAP Data Services (BODS).

Location : PAN India.

Experience : 6+yrs.

Skills :

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Data Migration projects.

- Proven experience in creating data profiling rules and scorecards.

- Minimum 2 completed data integration projects with a focus on data profiling and quality implementation.

- Strong experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries.

- Ability to handle high-volume data and optimize data flow performance.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to consult independently with business users.

- Quick understanding of source system functionality and business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in large-scale data migration projects.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and contribute to all phases of data migration projects, from planning and design to implementation and go-live support.

- Develop and execute data migration strategies, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and loading.

- Ensure data quality and accuracy throughout the entire migration process.

- Create and maintain data profiling rules and scorecards to identify and address data quality issues.

- Implement data quality checks and remediation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Monitor data quality metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

- Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using SAP Data Services (BODS).

- Develop and optimize data flows, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Handle high-volume data sets efficiently and optimize data flow performance.

- Consult with business users to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Document all project activities and deliverables.

- Contribute to project planning and execution, including estimation, scheduling, and risk management.

- Work effectively within Agile methodologies.
