About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing infrastructure, supporting engineering squads, and overseeing observability tasks.

You will also help to automate and streamline our CI/CD pipeline processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery across various development environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python, as well as deep knowledge in cloud networking, containerization, and Microsoft technologies such as .NET Core and .NET Framework.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Management : Build, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services on Azure to support development and production environments.

CI/CD Pipeline Automation : Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code delivery and testing processes, ensuring smooth integration and deployment of software.

Scripting & Automation : Write scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to automate system configurations, application deployments, and other DevOps tasks.

Support Engineering Squads : Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide infrastructure and DevOps support to engineering squads to ensure smooth application development and deployment.

Observability and Monitoring : Implement observability best practices by using monitoring tools to ensure high availability, security, and performance of applications in production.

Azure Networking : Manage and configure networking on Azure, ensuring seamless communication between infrastructure components and services.

ADO Agent Management : Administer and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) Agents, ensuring the proper configuration and management of Azure Pipelines.

Containerization : Use Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage container orchestration through Azure Container Registry (ACR) to streamline deployment processes.

.NET Core & .NET Framework : Collaborate with development teams to manage and deploy applications built on .NET Core and .NET Framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, including leadership roles in managing infrastructure and automating CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure, with hands-on experience in networking, virtual machines, and container services.

- Expertise in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) and familiarity with ADO Agents.

- Familiarity with .NET technologies, including .NET Core and .NET Framework, and the deployment of applications built on these platforms.

- Solid experience with observability tools and methodologies for monitoring and managing application performance and availability.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to ensure uptime and reliability of systems.

- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, supporting squads and guiding the team in DevOps best practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Certification in DevOps, Azure, or cloud technologies.

- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with additional DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, or Ansible.
