Senior DevOps Architect - Cloud Infrastructure (8-15 yrs)

Client : Large NBFC / Financial Services

Role : Senior DevOps Architect

Location : Bengaluru

Experience : 8 - 15 years

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and manage cloud-based infrastructures using AWS services such as ECS, S3, VPC, Security Groups, Batch, SQS, and SNS to ensure optimal performance and security.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform to automate resource provisioning and management.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GIT Actions to streamline the software release process.

- Proficiency in Automation and Python/Bash Scripting along with Linux expertise

- Networking & security knowledge are essential w.r.t. design secure and efficient VPC architectures, including the setup and management of Security Groups and other network configurations.

- Implement and manage centralized logging and monitoring solutions using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Cloudwatch metrics to enhance visibility into application performance and infrastructure health.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).

- 8+ years of experience in DevOps with atleast 3 years proven experience as a DevOps Architect or similar role with a focus on AWS cloud services.

- Strong expertise in AWS services, particularly ECS, S3, VPC, Security Groups, Batch, SQS, and SNS.

- Experience with infrastructure as code using Cloud Formation or Terraform.

- Proficient in Linux operating systems, including strong command-line skills and system administration.

- Solid experience with scripting languages, especially Python and Bash.

- Familiarity with networking concepts and best practices in a cloud environment.

- Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git Actions.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).

- Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
