DevOps Engineer - ELK Stack (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in containerization, CI/CD processes, and cloud services to design, implement, and manage scalable and efficient systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and work collaboratively to enhance system performance and ensure seamless deployment pipelines.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage containerized applications using platforms like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.

- Develop and implement containerization strategies in alignment with technical requirements.

- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate deployment processes.

- Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to optimize performance and scalability.

- Write and maintain scripts in Python and shell scripting for automation and task management.

- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of infrastructure and applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate containerized applications seamlessly.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing capacity.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback on deployment and automation workflows.

- Apply Agile or Scrum methodologies for project planning and execution.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices, with expertise in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.

- Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.

- Strong knowledge of Python and experience with scripting languages like shell scripting.

- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and an understanding of system capacity, networks, and bottlenecks.

- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

- Certification in Kubernetes or cloud platforms is a plus
