DevOps Engineer - Ansible/Puppet (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Exp : 5+ Years.

Location : Hyderabad.

Must have skills :

- AWS.

- EKS,.

- Istio.

- Kafka.

- Debezium.

- Terraform.

- Grafana.

- Infrastructure as a code(Terraform).

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of AWS resources.

- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, and other services.

- Build and maintain a robust and scalable platform on AWS, leveraging technologies like EKS, Istio, and Kafka.

- Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters on EKS, including cluster lifecycle management, scaling, and security.

- Implement service mesh solutions using Istio to enhance security, reliability, and observability of microservices.

- Design and implement data streaming pipelines using Kafka and Debezium for real-time data processing and integration.

- Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

- Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Set up and configure monitoring tools like Grafana to track system performance and identify potential issues.

- Implement logging and alerting mechanisms to proactively address system failures and anomalies.

- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Work with other DevOps engineers to share knowledge and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering

- Strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, EKS, and IAM

- Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration

-In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code principles and tools like Terraform

- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack

- Knowledge of data streaming platforms like Kafka and Debezium

- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
