Tejas Networks - Technical Writer - API Documentation (7-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Create, edit, and maintain user manuals, product guides, API documentation, and release notes.

- Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into documentation.

- Ensure documentation is structured, clear, and aligned with industry best practices.

- Develop diagrams, flowcharts, and visuals to enhance documentation clarity.

- Work with developers and QA teams to document software features, updates, and troubleshooting steps.

- Maintain documentation repositories, version control, and content management systems.

- Ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all documentation materials.

- Gather user feedback to improve documentation usability.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing.

Skills :

- Strong proficiency in technical writing tools such as Markdown, DITA, Confluence, or MadCap Flare.

- Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger, Postman, or OpenAPI is a plus.

- Basic understanding of software development concepts, coding, and version control (Git, GitHub).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple teams.

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and documentation versioning.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development cycles.
