Role : VMware Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description :

We are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESXi, NFS, CIFS, and iSCSI. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in VMware administration, including vSphere, vMotion, and vSAN. The candidate should be available for a face-to-face interview at the IBM location and be ready for immediate reporting post-offer and background verification.

Experience Requirements :

We are hiring for multiple experience levels, as detailed below :

3 years of total experience with 2 years of relevant experience & 8+ years of total experience with 7 years of relevant experience in VMware Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and manage VMware vCenter, vSphere, and ESXi environments.

- Maintain and troubleshoot NFS, CIFS, and iSCSI storage solutions within VMware infrastructure.

- Manage vSphere, vMotion, and vSAN for high availability and disaster recovery.

- Monitor and optimize virtualized environments for performance and efficiency.

- Ensure security and compliance within VMware infrastructure.

- Work closely with IT teams to deploy and integrate VMware solutions.

- Provide technical support and documentation for VMware-related issues and upgrades.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in VMware vCenter, vSphere, and ESXi.

- Strong knowledge of NFS, CIFS, and iSCSI storage solutions.

- Hands-on experience with vSphere, vMotion, and vSAN.

- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for VMware environments.

- Understanding of virtualization best practices and security policies.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- VMware certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional - VCP).

- Experience with enterprise-level VMware deployments.

- Knowledge of cloud-based virtualization solutions (AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments).
