Assistant Manager

Job Description: -

• Assist in developing the annual internal audit plan based on a risk-based approach.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Prepare audit scopes, objectives, and programs for assigned audit engagements.
• Identify and assess risks in business processes and recommend mitigating controls.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on pending action plans.
• Assist in updating the company's risk register by collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Coordinate with third-party firms for activities such as physical verification of inventory and job worker audits.
• Ensure that third-party deliverables meet company standards and timelines.
• Undertake special assignments as directed by management.

Purpose: To enhance process efficiency, ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and support management through audits, third-party coordination, and special assignments.

Position: Assistant Manager- Internal Audit

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance (preferably in manufacturing , Metal and Mining)

Qualification: - CA/CA inter/CMA/CMA inter (Please note for semi qualified experience required 4-6 years)

Location: Kolkata

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of internal audit frameworks and risk management methodologies.
• Proficiency in SAP / Oracle (Preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
