Job Title: Mobile Architect

Experience:  12+

Mode of Hire: Fulltime

Work Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary:As a Mobile Architect, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge mobile applications, with a focus on creating accessible and inclusive solutions. Your expertise in Flutter will be essential in developing robust, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications. Should be well versed in mobile App Architecture and should be hands on developing application end to end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, ensuring that all products meet ADA compliance and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Design: Define and design the overall architecture of mobile applications, ensuring they meet business requirements, security standards, and are scalable and accessible.
• Development Leadership: Lead the development team in building applications using Flutter
• Accessibility Standards: Ensure that all mobile applications comply with ADA guidelines and accessibility standards, incorporating features like screen reader support, colour contrast, and alternative input methods.
• Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices, including accessibility best practices.
• Collaboration: Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications that prioritize accessibility.
• Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, with a focus on accessibility.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and accessibility standards, and evaluate their potential integration into projects.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture, design, development processes, and accessibility compliance.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile development, with an emphasis on accessibility challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in mobile development with a strong focus on Flutter. 4 years only for architect.

• Technical Proficiency:
• Expertise in Flutter development
• Proficient in mobile architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.
• Experience with Java, Objective-C type of applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices and data privacy regulations.

• Accessibility Skills:
• Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
• Experience implementing accessibility features in mobile applications.
• Tools and Frameworks:
• Proficiency with Xcode and Android Studio.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Ability to lead and mentor development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
• Understanding of cloud services and backend integration.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
