Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Database Engineer with expertise in Snowflake Cloud, complex SQL, and performance tuning to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions, integrating databases, and ensuring optimal database performance for our organization. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the high performance and reliability of our Snowflake environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and optimize database solutions on the Snowflake platform.

- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.

- Work on performance tuning, optimizing queries, and improving data processing times within the Snowflake environment.

- Integrate Snowflake with various data sources, applications, and platforms.

- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and other teams to ensure smooth data workflows.

Requirements :

- Minimum 8 years of experience working with databases, with at least 8 years of hands-on SQL experience.

- At least 4 years of experience with Snowflake Cloud.

- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and optimization.

- Deep knowledge of SQL, including writing complex queries, subqueries, joins, and optimizing them for performance.

- Experience with integrating Snowflake with other data sources, systems, and cloud-based applications.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to debug database performance issues.

- Familiarity with cloud-based database services and platforms (preferably Snowflake) and associated tools.

- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

- Knowledge of best practices in database management, security, and data governance.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications or courses in Snowflake or related technologies.

- Experience in data modeling and design.

- Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration platforms.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
