Oracle OSM Developer (5-12 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Oracle OSM Developer to join our team. As an Oracle OSM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Oracle Order and Service Management (OSM) application, ensuring efficient and effective order management processes for our customers. You will work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and other development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Development & Customization :

- Design and develop Oracle OSM applications to support order management processes, including order creation, orchestration, and service delivery.

- Customize OSM workflows and integrate with other systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

- Work on the development of OSM adapters to integrate third-party systems and legacy platforms.

Implementation & Configuration :

- Collaborate with the functional teams to configure and implement Oracle OSM solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes.

- Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation during OSM integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Provide technical support during the post-deployment phase, troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to OSM functionality and performance.

- Maintain OSM system environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

System Integration :

- Integrate Oracle OSM with other Oracle products (e.g., Oracle Billing and Revenue Management, Oracle Communications) and external systems.

- Manage and maintain OSM's interaction with database systems (Oracle DB).

Documentation & Reporting :

- Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and suggest process improvements as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Oracle OSM (Order and Service Management) development and administration.

- Experience with Oracle Communications and related Oracle modules (e.g., Oracle BRM, Oracle CC&B) is a plus.

- Knowledge of Java, XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and SQL.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Fusion Middleware for system integration.

- Familiarity with Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC) or other order management systems is a plus.

Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Oracle OSM.

- Prior experience in order management system development, configuration, and integration.

Educational Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Communications or Oracle OSM) are a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Oracle Communications Ordering (OSM) and familiarity with telecom industry processes.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and SaaS offerings in the Oracle ecosystem.
