Job title: Sr. Piping Engineer AVEVA E3D

Experience required: 10+ years

Qualification required: B.E. / B. Tech- Mechanical

Must have skills: Piping Stress analysis, Piping Design, Piping Stress Engineering, AVEVA E3D, Piping Layout, ASME Codes, Piping materials

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible to plan, supervise and control Piping Engineering work activities throughout all project phases beginning from Concept, Basic, FEED and detail engineering Design to commissioning until handover of surface facilities to Operations.
• Develop piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangements based on project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with Piping materials, Codes, and standards in all design activities.
• Prepare and review Piping datasheets, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct piping stress analysis and hydraulic calculations as per industry standards.
• Collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to integrate piping designs into overall plant design.
• Review and approve vendor drawings and documents related to piping components.
• Prepare and maintain Statutory approval drawings/documentation for piping systems.
• Utilize 3D tools such as AVEVA E3D (Mandatory), SP3D, Autodesk Plant-3D and AutoCAD for 3D modelling and design work.
• Ensure Clash free model by performing clash checks and generate 3D model clash report in AVEVA E3D Clash Manager.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and coordination activities with stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of all piping design activities.
• Support development and improvements of department standard work procedures and workflows.
• Must be flexible to travel US or Europe on project basis.

Require Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in industry of Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Energy & Power industry.
• B1/B2 H1 Visa Preferred.
• Hands on experience on all major activities related to Piping Design, Piping stress engineering.
• Working knowledge of 3D software AVEVA E3D, E3D Clash Manager (Mandatory), SP3D, Plant- 3D, Navisworks etc. and Piping Stress analysis.
• Experience in AVEVA E3D administration will be added advantage.
• Proficiency in Piping materials, Codes, and standards relevant to the industry including ASME Codes like B31.1, B31.2, B31.3 etc.
• Work Experience in Handling US Project will be added Advantage.
• Should be work independently in a self-driven manner with professional approach.
• Possess strong analytical skill and effectively communicate technical data.
• Ability to interact effectively in multidisciplinary team environment, especially in multinational environment.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a team player.
• Proactive, meticulous, responsible and good working attitude.
• Can adapt in fast pace working environment.
