Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to oversee and conduct performance testing of dishwasher machines, ensuring compliance with EU standards for design and product feasibility. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in appliance testing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, particularly in household or commercial dishwashers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct functional, durability, and efficiency tests on dishwasher machines to evaluate cleaning performance, drying effectiveness, noise levels, and energy consumption.
• Develop test plans, protocols, and procedures by EU standards (e.g., EN 50242, IEC 60436, Eco-design, and Energy Labeling Regulations).
• Identify defects, analyze root causes, and provide corrective action recommendations for design improvements.
• Perform comparative benchmarking against competitor products and industry standards.

2. Regulatory & Compliance Testing

• Ensure compliance with EU product safety and environmental regulations, including CE marking requirements.
• Verify adherence to energy efficiency and water consumption limits as per European sustainability guidelines.
• Work closely with R&D, design, and certification teams to validate prototypes and final products before market release.

3. Product Feasibility & Design Validation

• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to assess design feasibility and suggest modifications for better performance and durability.
• Support in the evaluation of materials, components, and software controls for dishwasher operation.
• Assist in risk assessment studies, failure mode analysis (FMEA), and continuous process improvement.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, compliance documentation, and performance analysis records.
• Provide inputs for certification audits and technical dossiers for EU market approval.
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, including management, production, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in QA, product testing, or compliance in the home appliance industry.
• Proven experience in testing consumer appliances, with a focus on dishwashers or similar products.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to perform hands-on testing, including installation, usage, and operation of dishwashers in various scenarios.
• Strong understanding of EU regulatory frameworks for dishwasher testing and certification.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment, instrumentation, and lab validation methods.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, statistical quality control (SQC), and reporting.
• Experience in ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other quality methodologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

• ISO 17025 Testing & Calibration (Preferred)
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) / Six Sigma Certification (Preferred)
