Job Description
- Create, document & manage test cases & test plans with high quality & on time delivery based on weekly schedule.
- Execute thorough validation testing of Edge Applications based on customer standard wind controls test & release plans
- Detailed & comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute tests with appropriate techniques (manually or by using test execution tools) and document testing failures.
- Analyse the defects and identify the root cause.
- Troubleshoot defects, such that it does not affect the product quality.
- Collaborate with the software testing team to assess or diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions.
- Perform thorough regression post bug fix.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and automation frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies to continuously enhance testing practices.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of software components.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to improve code quality and testability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all testing activities.
Work Experience
- Create, document & manage test cases & test plans with high quality & on time delivery based on weekly schedule.
- Good experience working on Python & hands-on experience in Manual testing plans.
- Added advantage working on Automation testing tools.
- Strong understanding of the Energy industry and its specific testing requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective testing processes.
- Experience in conducting thorough test case reviews and providing valuable feedback.
- Proficient in identifying and reporting software defects and issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
- Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans and test scripts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate test results and findings.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Passion for quality assurance and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
