Data Analyst - Senior Executive / Associate

Role & responsibilities

The incumbent will support programs and would work closely with the Program Lead. She/he will be accountable for creating Unified Data Platforms:

• Data recording from multiple data sources across projects.
• Interpreting data, and analyzing results using statistical techniques.
• Have strong understanding of assessing the data
• Tracking the data on a regular monitoring basis for primary and secondary data and maintaining databases
• Develop a restful API back end using .NET Core or Web API.
• Prepare regular reports and MIS for stakeholders.
• Extracting and processing of data in a specific format as per requirements.
• Should be familiar with running scripts, test the platform
• Design dashboards and create database structures for business critical decisions
• Should have experience in project management and understanding the business requirements
• Familiarity with predictive modelling will be an added advantage
• Should have good knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platforms)
• Along with the TechnoServe team and unified data platform vendors, bring proven best practices to support TechnoServe programs

Preferred candidate profile

This role calls for an intrinsically motivated and passionate individual, looking to work in a cross-functional role for our projects in India.

Preferred skills include:

• Graduate or postgraduate in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Project Management in software / application development.
• Excellent data analysis and evaluation skills and large data management
• Must have good communication skills, coordination, reporting and the ability to build convincing argument.
• Ability to understand and work on different business models
• Should have excellent skills in MS Excel (Advanced), and should have the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into consumable information
• Technical knowledge Data Visualization, Dashboards, APIs, C / SQL, HTML, Power BI, Data Security tools
• Should have a self-learning attitude towards understanding and improving program's data capture, monitoring and reporting systems and enhancing efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team, spread across diverse geographies and to deliver in a time bound program
• Willingness to travel in non-metro project locations as and when required.
