Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:.

- Experience in Boiler related area / business development experience.

- Achieve ABP targets for the respective territory directly and through the dealer network.

- Ensure Market coverage across geographies & industrial segments to analyse key market trends.

- Responsible for sales/OB of standard and non-standard spares across regions.

- Monitor lead generation to ensure sufficient enquiry pipeline for achieving sales target.

- Understanding the customer needs & identifying opportunities at existing plants for upgrades & improvements.

- Concept selling & drive new product /application sales.

- Develop and generate business through identified OEMs / Key Accounts / Channel Associates/ Consultants to get additional business.

About the Role:


- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team.


- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the boiler industry and a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets.


- This role will involve developing and executing sales strategies to expand our market share and drive revenue growth.


Responsibilities:


Sales & Business Development:


- Achieve and exceed assigned Annual Business Plan (ABP) targets for the designated territory, both directly and through the dealer network. Conduct thorough market research to identify and analyze key market trends, target segments, and competitive landscapes.


- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand customer base. Actively engage in lead generation activities to ensure a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.


- Conduct customer needs assessments and identify opportunities for upgrades, improvements, and new product/application sales. Develop and nurture relationships with key accounts, OEMs, channel partners, and consultants.


- Product Knowledge & Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of boiler systems, components, and applications. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Market Coverage & Analysis: Ensure comprehensive market coverage across all assigned geographies and industrial segments.


- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in boiler sales or a related field within the industrial sector. Strong understanding of boiler systems and their applications. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.


- Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) preferred.
