The Resume Writer will play a critical role in developing and customizing resumes to highlight the qualifications of key personnel for proposals, RFPs, and RFIs in a government contracting environment. This role requires a keen understanding of government contract requirements, attention to detail, and the ability to transform technical and non-technical information into polished, compelling resumes that meet government standards. The Past Performance Writer is responsible for crafting narrative sections that describe the companys past experience relevant to government RFPs and RFIs. This role requires a strong understanding of GovCon industry standards, compliance needs, and the ability to highlight relevant past work experience that meets the unique requirements of each proposal or task order.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Program Managers, and other key personnel to gather information on candidates' qualifications, experience, and achievements.

Develop and tailor resumes to align with RFP/RFI requirements, including formatting and phrasing to meet government standards.

Ensure each resume clearly demonstrates relevant experience, certifications, skills, and compliance with contract requirements.

Edit and proofread resumes to enhance clarity, conciseness, and impact.

Check against the database of resumes and support rapid response efforts by updating existing resumes as new information becomes available.

Gather and analyze information on past projects, including scope, objectives, outcomes, and lessons learned.

Write detailed, compelling past performance narratives that are tailored to each proposal or RFI.

Ensure compliance with RFP requirements, such as formatting, word limits, and specific content inclusions.

Collaborate with Business Development, Program Management, and Technical teams to identify relevant past projects and their contributions to the proposal objectives.

Check against the library of past performance write-ups for efficient reuse in future proposals.
