Job Description:

8-10 years of overall IT experience

Strong Experience in Snowflake Cloud DB

3-5 Years of experience working in large data warehousing projects, implementing data warehouses, data marts, ETL, BI solutions etc.

Strong understanding of dimensional design techniques, star and snowflake schemas, building facts, dimensions, implementing SCD, various types of facts and dimensions etc. Familiarity with the data vault 2.0 data design will be a plus

Strong experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, Informatica, DataStage or equivalent tools Expertise in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL or equivalent scripting, Unix Shell scripting, Python and performance tuning.

Working experience in data engineering for Snowflake DB; ingesting data, creating native stored procs for data preparation, creating views and dynamic tables, streams will be preferred In-depth knowledge of advanced Snowflake concepts, including resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, zero-copy cloning, and time travel features will be preferred

Experience in Azure cloud services such as Azure ADF, Azure DevOps, LogicApp, Azure Functions etc.

Experience in managing data security, access controls, and designing secure data solutions. Experience with Agile development methodologies and a track record of successfully delivering projects in an Agile environment.

Familiarity with modern data architectures, data lake, data fabric, data mesh etc. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI etc.
