The Role :

As a Senior Data Engineer at Techiebutler, you will design and implement secure, scalable, and industry-leading data architectures. Partnering with data science, business analytics, and product teams, you will develop robust solutions aligned with the highest industry standards.

- Pipeline Orchestration : Dagster (Legacy : Airflow).

- ETL : FiveTran, DBT.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using SQL and Python.

- Implement and manage data pipeline orchestration using Dagster or Airflow.

- Collaborate with business and product teams to provide seamless data solutions and enable self-service analytics.

- Drive stream, batch, and CDC processes for seamless data flow.

- Lead data transformation and modeling using DBT to meet organizational objectives.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data quality and reliability.

- Ensure strict compliance with security, privacy, and industry regulations.

What We're Looking For :

Essential Experience :

- 5+ years in data engineering, with demonstrated expertise in SQL and Python.

- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing (i.e., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and batch/streaming data pipelines.

- Proficiency with AWS services (S3, DMS, Glue, Athena).

- Proven ability to resolve data inconsistencies and optimize pipelines.

Desired Experience :

- Advanced knowledge of AWS services (ECS, EKS, EC2, IAM).

- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Familiarity with orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow, AWS Step Functions).

- Expertise in pub-sub and streaming technologies (Kinesis, Kafka, SQS, SNS).

- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for automated data solutions.
