Job Description
Job Posting: Senior Configuration Consultant
The Configuration Consultant is a key implementation resource, responsible for analyzing customer business processes and for implementing optimal Cadient product solutions for customers. He is also responsible to meet project delivery milestones and budgets. The Configuration Consultant will work in complex environments, requiring complex multi-product solutions, configuration and integration with other third-party products. He will also need to be highly adaptive to different customer environments and be able to independently handle discussions with clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES:
Configuring and testing solution best fit for the customer requirements.
Consult customers on system configuration, industry specific features and system processes and procedures.
Preparing functional and technical solution design documents and Configuring and delivering the solution to the customer.
Work with the project managers to align with project milestones and ensure timely delivery.
Assisting the customer with testing, understanding the solution.
The Configuration Consultant will communicate with customers in a timely, professional manner and will escalate issues to the Project Manager as necessary.
He will portray a positive, proactive and professional work ethic to the customer and the people he or she interacts with on a daily basis. Creating and maintaining Customer Satisfaction is a primary goal for the position.
Good time management skills, ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities.
Staying up-to-date on the latest product features and functionalities.
Troubleshooting of production issues by applying analytical thinking problem-solving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent in a Computer Sciences or related field.
3 to 5 years of industry experience with exposure to product implementations
Experience with requirement gathering, solution design and implementation.
Prior experience in supporting functional testing, integration testing and UAT preferred.
Solid interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers and manage specific tasks to completion with minimal direction.
Ability to collaborate with clients, identify engagement follow-on opportunities, and a strong desire to excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of testing multi-tenant SaaS application will be added advantage.
Good to have knowledge on Database, XML, Xslt, HTML CSS
