Designation: Mechanical Engineer - CAD

Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical design/CAD engineer to plan and execute the same. The primary responsibilities of a CAD Engineer include creating, adjusting, and revising drawings and models using CAD software. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in Mechanical Design / CAD, with a strong background in Structural design, Fabrication/Weldment etc., implementing, and maintaining mechanical systems for complex gas power projects. These professionals must ensure that the designs are not only practical but also compliant with industry regulations and company standards.

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: Diploma/Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with significant expertise in the oil and gas EPC sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., UG NX, Creo and Team Center etc.), strong knowledge of mechanical systems and standards (e.g., ANSI, ASME, IEC), GD&T.
• Soft Skills: Knowledge in dealing with engineering drawings and 3D modelling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Sound knowledge of GD&T & Strong verbal, written and communications skills.
