About the Job :

Job Title: Senior NodeJS Developer.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team.

As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the scalability and performance of our software solutions.

Your expertise in Node.js and related frameworks will play a critical role in shaping our products and driving innovation.

Responsibilities :

- Develop robust and scalable server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product owners, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support various client applications.

- Optimize application performance and scalability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on users.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Node.js and related technologies.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting a collaborative work environment.

Must Haves :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ year experience in NodeJs & ExpressJS/NestJS framework and proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices.

- 3+ year experience in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

- 3+ Experience with TypeScript or other statically typed languages.

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), including query optimization and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- Good at algorithms and data structures.

- Any project on Github, that can showcase your coding skill.

Nice to have :

- Experience working with Unit test frameworks like Mocha.

- Experience working with Microservice Architecture.

- Experience working with JIRA.

- Knowledge of serverless computing (e.g, AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).

- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform).

- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
